On 07/04/2025, in view of World Health Day work shop was conducted on MHHM- (Menstrual Health and Hygiene &Green Menstruation )by using menstrual Cups by Mrs. Neelam Sarda, Sustainable Menstruation Educator, Chennai at 11am to 12.30pm at Dhanvantri Auditorium, Railway Hospital, Perambur. In which group discussion was also there and doubts were cleared by her. Our PCMD HQ hospital Dr. S. Kalyani has given wonderful speech about the Myths of Hymen tear and to save mother Earth from disposal of Sanitary napkins which causes a huge problem of blockage of water bodies and environmental disasters because of the non biodegradable materials used up for the production of sanitary napkins and the huge market behind it. Members of Lion's club Meenambakkam, participated to grace the occasion and Menstrual cups were distributed by them to the participants.

PCMD Dr S.Kalyani gave a crisp and clear message to all the antenatal mothers about antenatal and peripartum care. Dr Hajeera Fathima, DMO/ Gynacology elaborated about Healthy beginnings – hopeful future theme in Hindi. Dr Sai Priya DMO/Paediatrics discussed about the post natal care, tips to the mother about new born care by audio visual display. Interactive quiz session was conducted by the postgraduates to the antenatal mothers after the speech and prizes were distributed. It was well received by the beneficiaries
