Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital has hostel facilities which creates a home away from their home for every student. Our hospital has four hostels, three of which are on the campus and another near the New OPD building. Our hostels are governed by the Hostel Committee. The rooms are furnished with a table, chair, cot and fan.
The hostels are provided with all basic facilities including round-the-clock water supply, and uninterrupted power supply by generators. Our four hostels are the OPD Doctor’s Hostel, Nurses Hostel, Cardiology Hostel, and Resident Doctor’s Hostel.
OPD Doctor’s Hostel:
Doctor’s Hostel is located inside the campus. The vision of our Hostels is to offer the best facilities for a safe and comfortable stay. We create a secure environment that empowers resident students to excel in academics, as well as in extracurricular activities. Doctor’s Hostel has 16 rooms. Every room is a single occupancy room. It is equipped with attached bathroom and a small kitchen with shelves and sink . The rooms have a bed, shelf, table, chair, and bookcases. There is an ATM opposite the campus. Our canteen is near the hostel.
Doctor’s Hostel:
Doctor’s Hostel aims to provide all students with high-quality, hygienic, and safe accommodations to meet individual needs. Our hostel has 27 rooms with attached washrooms. We have a 24/7 Water supply, 24/7 electrician, RO drinking water, and CCTV cameras in the main entrance. A designated two-wheeler parking space is provided near the hostel. The hostel is well-maintained by a team of our maintenance staff. Other facilities in the hostel are a Shuttle Badminton court and a reading room. Every room is with an attached bathroom and kitchenette and is furnished with a bed and cupboard.
Cardiology Hostel:
The cardiology hostel has 8 rooms specially meant for doctors who are doing their specialization in cardiology. Hostellers enjoy warm and welcoming atmospheres, comfortable living conditions, and comprehensive health care. Located within walking distance of the wards, it is very convenient for the doctors to get access to the wards during emergencies. Each room is a single occupancy room furnished with a bed, shelf, bookcases, and attached washrooms. The rooms are very well-maintained and cleaned properly every weekend.
Resident Doctor’s Hostel:
Resident Doctor’s Hostel is located near the new OPD building. The hostel has 16 rooms and those rooms are single occupancy rooms with a bed, water heater, table, chair, cupboard, and attached washrooms. There are CCTV cameras in the main entrance. There is a parking space for two-wheelers. The hostel is convenient and comfortable with spacious rooms and ample storage. Hostel environment helps the students not only to study but also to socialize with their peers. The hostel has a very good infrastructure and water and electricity supply all the time.
Nurse's Hostel:
Nurse's Hostel has spacious rooms with attached bathroom and kitchenette . Our hostel is known to have 24*7 water supply and electricity and RO for drinking water. Study room is present in the ground floor. Recreation room is present in the ground floor. We have CCTV camera in the entrance for students safety. The rooms are on single occupancy and have a bed,study table ,chair and a cup board.
