General Info
The department of Orthopaedics at RH/PER has the state-of-the-art technology with fully equipped Modular operation theatre. Apart from routine fracture care, Complex trauma surgeries, Joint Replacement surgeries, Arthroscopic procedures, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Deformity corrections, Orthopaedic oncology procedures, Spine surgeries are performed here.
The department runs DNB training program for almost 2 decades now. The clinical case load is increasing every year and we strive hard to keep up the work excellence. We participate actively in both the regional and national association meetings. Research works are being carried out in the department.
Appropriate and timely management of On-duty injuries has made most patients return to their normal duties faster thereby reducing the number of Man-days lost. As the department provides range of surgeries, a lot of retired employees and dependants enjoy productive old age. The number of cases referred out of the hospital is nil.
