In connection with National Nutrition month September 2024, Iron rich Recipe Contest was organised and conducted by the Hospital Kitchen and Department of Dietetics RH/PER on 27.09.24 among the employees of RH/PER.
The felicitation program for the same was conducted on 20.11.24 and was honoured by Dr.Nirmala/PCMD/RH/PER, Dr.Kalyani MD and Dr.V. Kannan CSS. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Certificates and consolation prizes were distributed to all the participants for their zealous involvement in the contest.
PCMD and MD elucidated on the prevalence of Anaemia among adolescent girls and pregnant women. They also spoke on the important role of home made iron rich foods in the prevention of Anaemia
