“Anti Filaria Day” was observed at CW/PER on 06.06.2024. CWM/CW/PER presided over the meeting. Dr. Ghauthaman R, ADMO/SURGERY/RH/PER delivered awareness lecture on Symptoms, Mode of Transmission, Prevention of Mosquito breeding/bite, Life cycle of Filarial parasite, Yearly Mass Drug Administration and Treatment of Acute Filarial Lymphangitis/Infection and management of complications to 100 Railway beneficiaries.
