The Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital, Perambur, in collaboration with Railway Higher Secondary School, Perambur, organised a comprehensive School Health Program over two phases: from the 21st to 23rd of August 2024 and from the 27th to 30th of August 2024. The program aimed to screen and assess the health of students from 1st to 12th standard, ensuring early detection of any health issues and promoting overall well-being.
The primary goal of the School Health Program was to identify existing health issues among students and increase awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups. The program provided an opportunity for early intervention in health concerns, contributing to the overall health of the student community.
The program covered students across all grades from 1 st to 12th standard. A multidisciplinary team of doctors from Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital, Perambur, conducted the health screenings.
